Rifles . . .
Our rifle section was formed to promote and enhance the sport
of rifle shooting, with an emphasis being placed on range
safety and friendly competition.Rifle
shooting is an inexpensive entry into the sport of shooting,
allowing newcomers the opportunity to practice and progress at
their own pace.
We offer an indoor range with 3-position
shooting, which includes standing, kneeling, and prone. Our
range is limited

to pistol caliber rifles, including single shot,
repeaters, and semi-automatics, with either scopes or iron sights. No Jacketed Bullets are
allowed in our Royal York Range (Lead Only).
As members advance their skills, crests are available to award
proficiency in marksmanship from beginner through to master. Members may also
participate in Metro Rifle League and may go on to regional, provincial, and
national shoots with the Shooting Federation of Canada.
All shooting is done under the direction of qualified Range
Officers (RO's). The range officers and senior experienced rifle shooters
are always willing to advise and assist newer shooters.
New members are welcome. Please call our office to arrange an
appointment to view our facilities and try our sport.
